Thanks to new ground marking and more generous division of parking spaces, parking is now more comfortable and easier.

The Karl Wolf pay and display car park in Merano offers convenient parking in the centre of Merano at reasonable rates.

The Karl Wolf 24-hour public car park is ideally located, close to Vinschger Tor (the old town gate) and offers the perfect base for accessing the centre of Merano, the old town, the Tappeiner promenade, the Christmas market and the Merano Wine Festival, as well as many other sights and events in the spa town.

Cars with a height of more than 2.30 mt and cars with bicycle racks/ trailers / campers / trucks are not allowed to enter the car park ! Please pay attention to the warning signs at the entrance !

* INFO - IMPORTANT - All special rates such as daily, multi-day or monthly ticket must be payed immediately or at least within 7 hours of entering the car park directly at the car park staff or at the pay machines ! After this time limit, the special rates are no longer available! Important: Please be sure to follow the corresponding instructions on the information board next to the ticket machines. It is not possible to reserve a parking space in advance! Please note: Cars using special rates must be parked in the upper area of the car park (near the ticket office).

All tickets of the special rates are valid for the period you have selected (1 to a maximum of 31 days), 24 hours per day and must be used for all individual entries and exits. Important: the ticket must always be inserted into the exit and entry station (even if the boom barrier is open!) (the special rate ticket is programmed according to the presence/absence principle). The expiry time of the special rate tickets corresponds to the same time of the first entry into the car park. If the time limit will be exceeded, the difference can be paid at the pay stations.

Coming from Passo Resia: Passo Resia – Bolzano state road, exit Merano centro

From Merano centro exit: at the roundabout in the tunnel – first or even second exit following the Parkplatz Meran -signs for Merano Karl Wolf and then the -signs for Merano centro until the Vinschger Tor (old town gate). Turn left just before the gate and you’ll see the car park right in front of you.

Coming from Passo Giovo: take the state road into Merano town centre, enter the Merano Thermal Baths underpass, turn right over Theaterbrücke (bridge) and follow Via delle Corse until the Vinschger Tor (old town gate). Turn right immediately after the gate and you’ll find the Karl Wolf car park right in front of you.
